Home to the Florida State Seminoles, Doak Campbell Stadium is one of college football’s most iconic venues, celebrated for its rich history and passionate fan base. In August 2025, 75 years after the stadium’s grand opening, Sightline Commercial Solutions completed a renovation that transformed the venue’s premium seating and Founders Suite areas with 5,907 linear feet of custom railing solutions.
The renovation included a total redesign of the south endzone seating section to add premium options, as well as a full overhaul of the west stands that replaced existing bleachers with upgraded seating. A new Founders Level was also added, featuring suites and field-level premium spaces.
Sightline provided a wide range of railing systems from custom overbuilds and aisle rail to varying drink rail types, including a custom-fabricated design for the Founders Suite, which also features Bendheim Corduroy fluted glass. These elements were carefully integrated to enhance safety, accessibility and the fan experience while complementing the stadium’s modern aesthetic.
The project required close coordination with steel overbuilds, electrical stub-ups and metal wall panels, all while completing most of the design, fabrication and installation within a tight seven-month schedule. Advanced capabilities such as 3D laser scanning and detailed steel and electrical coordination enabled precise installation and alignment with the evolving construction timeline.
This project also marked Sightline’s first collaboration with Manhattan-Culpepper Construction and provided an opportunity to demonstrate the team’s expertise when working with unfamiliar materials, including Longboard railing infill.
