The next edition of the Grounds Management Association (GMA) Industry Awards will be held on March 13, 2025, and will kick off the GMA’s annual awareness campaign, #GroundsWeek, which will take place March 17-23, 2025.
Historically held at Birmingham’s NEC alongside SALTEX, Europe’s largest tradeshow, before being hosted at Headingley Stadium in Leeds last November, the GMA is moving its industry awards to coincide with its annual awareness campaign, #GroundsWeek.
The GMA Industry Awards celebrate excellence in the grounds care industry, recognizing the outstanding achievements of volunteers and professionals across a variety of sports. The 2025 awards will feature a range of categories, including Newcomer of the Year, Environmental and Sustainability Impact Award, Community Groundsperson/Team of the Year, Best Managed Artificial Surface of the Year, and many more!
In addition, a brand-new venue has been secured for the 2025 awards. The venue details will be revealed soon, promising a fresh and exciting backdrop.
“We are thrilled to announce the return of our Industry Awards in March 2025, especially given that it now coincides with #GroundsWeek, which provides the ideal opportunity to celebrate excellence within the grounds care industry,” said Geoff Webb, CEO of the Grounds Management Association, said.
#GroundsWeek, now moving into its fifth consecutive year, helps to raise awareness and recognize the work of grounds care volunteers and professionals in the UK, with a focus on inspiring new recruits to consider a career in the industry.
