At its recent Pipeline product launch event, Milwaukee Tool announced a range of batteries, chargers, and related power equipment, with dates for release and pricing on most of the items.
Batteries
The company highlighted updates to its batteries and chargers, including the M18 Red Lithium Forge HD12.0 battery pack, the premium battery in the Milwaukee lineup. Milwaukee said this new battery delivers 50% more power than the High Output 12.0. It features high-speed cooling, can charge to 80% in 35 minutes, and has the longest life of any Red Lithium batteries. The M18 Red Lithium Forge HD12.0 is also Cool-Cycle capable. This system provides high-speed cooling for less downtime. A patented ingress coating provides increased protection to maximize active cooling through an upgraded venting design. Red Link Intelligence protects the battery from overloads, preventing users from damaging their cordless power tools in heavy-duty situations. This battery uses tables battery cells. The M18 Red Lithium Forge HD12.0 battery is fully compatible with 275+ M18 solutions. The HD12.0 battery will be available in August 2024 at an MSRP of $249.
The new Red Lithium Forge XC8.0 battery pack is built with many of the same features as the HD12.0, including the cooling system, fast-charging capability, Red Link intelligence, and the patented ingress coating. It will be available in August 2024 at an MSRP of $199
Chargers
Milwaukee said the M18 Six Bay Daisy Chain Rapid Charger features dual charge modes for rapid daytime or overnight charging. For bulk M18 battery charging, users can daisy-chain 10 chargers together to recharge 60 packs overnight, all on a single circuit. For daytime charging, Rapid mode charges M18 batteries at 2X faster rate than standard chargers and will charge two batteries simultaneously.

The M18 Dual Bay Simultaneous Super Charger with 4 Point Mounting delivers up to 6X faster charging to 80%, maximizing productivity by reducing downtime throughout the day. In just 35 minutes, users can charge an M18 Red Lithium Forge XC8.0 or Forge HD12.0 Battery to 80%, allowing users to get back to work faster than ever before. Super Chargers are Milwaukee’s fastest chargers.
The Dual-Bay charger will be available in February 2025. No price is listed yet.
The Milwaukee Power Manager enables users with a high quantity of M12, M18 or MX Fuel chargers to optimize their circuit usage and charge more batteries. The Power Manager automatically energizes the largest number of chargers possible, and then switches over to additional chargers once it has detected batteries have completed charging. This enables users with heavy energy demands to prioritize high-speed chargers for fast daytime charging, and bulk overnight charging, all while avoiding tripping breakers or unnecessarily upgrading their infrastructure. With the Milwaukee Power Manager, professionals can efficiently charge any battery, avoid infrastructure investments, and easily transition from gas to battery equipment.
The Power Manager will be available in January 2025 at an MSRP of $499.00 (15 Amp Circuit), or $599 (20 Amp Circuit).
Power Equipment
Milwaukee said its M18 Fuel 20-in. Dual Battery Chainsaw generates 70cc of power, delivers faster cutting through reduced stalls and provides users a balanced design for more control. M18 Fuel technology allows this saw to generate 5.8HP peak power, with a Powerstate Brushless Motor that gets up to speed in under one second and maintains speed under heavy loads without bogging down. The power mode select feature enables users to run the saw in Standard Power Mode with 4.4HP or Peak Power Mode with 5.8HP giving users increased control over power output. Standard Power Mode maximizes run time and runs cooler, while Peak Power Mode provides maximum power to prevent stalls in the toughest applications.
The saw will be available in August 2024 at an MSRP of $899.
Milwaukee said the M18 Fuel Power Head w/ Quik-Lok has more power than a 31cc gas tool and is fully compatible with 250+ solutions on the M18™ system. The Power Head reaches full throttle in under 1 second.
The tool will be available in November 2024 at an MSRP of $249.
Milwaukee also announced two compatible tools. The M18 String Trimmer with Quik-Lok will be available in November 2024, with an MSRP of $349. And the M18 Pole Saw with Quik-Lok will be available in November 2024 at an MSRP of $549.
The M18 Fuel Edger and the String Trimmer both use the Powerstate Brushless Motor to deliver more power than 31cc gas. Both will be available in November 2024 at an MSRP of $549.
Designed with maneuverability in mind, the M18 Fuel Short Pole Hedge Trimmer provides the power to cut 1-in. branches, has a lightweight design for quick shaping, and provides more maneuverability for clean cuts. This solution features robust 20-in. double sided blades for faster and more aggressive cutting in addition to a balanced design providing superior ergonomics in use. This Short Pole Hedge Trimmer includes a tip guard to prevent damage to the blade and surrounding work area, as well as a padded grip and bail handle grip for optimal hand placement and increased comfort.
It will be available in November 2024 at an MSRP of $599.
Milwaukee said its M18 Fuel 24-in. and 30-in. Hedge Trimmers exceed the power, performance, and durability needs of the landscape maintenance professional. The Powerstate Brushless Motor provides users the power to cut up to 1-1/4-in. branches. This hedge trimmer features a rotating handle, double-sided blades, and clippings sweep attachment.
The tools will be available in November 2024 at an MSRP of $479, and $529, respectively.
The M18 4-Gallon Backpack Sprayer w/ Switchtank delivers the industry’s best pressure control, with no manual pumping and an interchange tank design. The sprayer’s instant, constant, and adjustable pressure enables ultimate spraying control across a wide range of applications all with no manual pumping required for reduced fatigue. The interchangeable tank design allows you to add on tank assemblies for different spraying applications, eliminating cross-chemical contamination.
This sprayer will be available in November 2024 at an MSRP of $399.
The M18 Fuel Pole Articulating Hedge Trimmer has the power to cut 1-in. branches, cuts faster, and provides more versatility for clean cuts. The hedge trimmer features a 24-in. blade with 1-in. cut capacity, allowing users to clear more material in a single pass. This unit has robust double-sided blades for faster and more aggressive cutting. This tool’s total length is 85 inches, the articulating mechanism allows for 270-degree rotation of the blade set, giving users 13 operating positions and 1 storage position.
This trimmer will be available in March 2025 at an MSRP of $679.
An Extended Pole Hedge Trimmer version of the same tool has a total length of 105 inches.
It will be available in March 2025 at an MSRP of $699.
