The New England Sports Turf Managers Association (NESTMA) had a great showing at the New England Regional Turfgrass Conference (NERTC) in Providence, R.I. In addition to strong professional development programming and an idea-packed show floor, the opportunities for networking were top-notch. NESTMA’s booth served as a popular hub for prospective members to learn more about being involved with our association.
NESTMA’s awards meeting and lunch was a high point of the conference. NESTMA President Chris McGinty recognized founding members, trustees, current board members, and welcomed Brendon Connor (Holy Cross) and Scott Lagana (TPC) to the board.
Executive Director Virginia Wood gave a recap of 2022 NESTMA activities. Vickie Wallace and her hard-working task force were given high marks for the development of the new BMPs for New England Sports Field Managers.
