The New England Regional Turfgrass Conference (NERTC) will be held in Providence, R.I., March 7-9, 2023. The NERTC education committee has developed a strong program for the 2023 event. Pre-conference sessions on March 7 feature experts including Dr. John Ball, Dr. Cale Bigelow, Dr. Jim Brosnan, and Dr. Matt Elmore. The top-notch programming carries forward to the conference on March 8 and 9 with topics designed specifically for SFMs including Sport Turf PHC, Weed Management, Effective Aerification, PGRs on Sports Fields, and Synthetic Turf Management. Most sessions qualify for valuable CEU credit.
A highlight of the conference will be the introduction of NESTMA’s Environmental Best Management Practices at 10 a.m. on March 8. Victoria Wallace of UConn Extension, and NESTMA past president, will highlight the features of benefits of this inaugural and valuable industry resource.

Also, NESTMA’s Awards Meeting and Lunch will be held during the NERTC March 8 at 11:30 a.m. NESTMA will congratulate its Sports Turf Manager and Commercial Partner of the Year.
