The Baltimore Ravens are seeking a full-time groundskeeper to assist with the daily maintenance of the Ravens’ home field at M and T Bank Stadium. The full job listing is as follows:

General Description: The Baltimore Ravens are hiring a full-time groundskeeper to assist with the daily maintenance of the Ravens home field at M and T Bank Stadium. This person will work in conjunction with other grounds staff members to provide a safe and visually appealing field here at the stadium. The Ravens are looking for a self-motivated, hardworking individual who is passionate about the turfgrass profession as well as the game of football.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain the field in accordance with NFL specifications. Included in the maintenance will be soil and tissue testing, moisture monitoring, fertilizer and pesticide applications, overseeding, field layout and painting for games, sodding, artificial turf maintenance, the use of grow covers, grow lights, and field tarps, and prepping the field for games and other events.
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the grounds shop and equipment used by the grounds staff.
- Assist in record keeping and documenting field use with both written and visual records.
- All other duties assigned by the Head Groundskeeper.
Required Education and/or Experience:
- Associates/Bachelor of Science degree in turgrass, soil science, or agronomy.
- One or more years of working in the turfgrass industry.
- Experience working for a college/university or in professional sports preferred.
- Ability to obtain Maryland fertilizer applicators license within 6 months of employment.
- Ability to walk, stand, kneel, bend, run, lift a minimum of 50 lbs., and work in different climates.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to detail and the willingness to go above and beyond in order to achieve the desired results.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery including mowers, tractors, forklifts, and skid-steers.
