Even through the beginning of 2020 has been a challenge, the Irrigation Association (IA) is moving forward with plans for the 2020 Irrigation Show and Education Week (Nov. 30-Dec. 4, 2020, in San Antonio, Texas).
According to IA, “This experience has transformed our entire world — including the way we live, interact and do business. And the 2020 Irrigation Show will be no different. It may change and evolve and look a little different than in the past. We prefer to think of it as finding ways to improve on what we offer and focus on the elements that make it valuable to you, while finding new and creative ways to draw in a larger audience. This year’s show is expected to be a monumental event for our industry to come together to strategize about rebuilding our businesses, discuss ways to manage operations in a post-COVID-19 world and to jumpstart the education efforts that were stalled in the spring.”
IA added, “Our hope is that our industry will be able to come together in December with a renewed and reenergized outlook on the future and irrigation’s role in it.”
