SportsTurf and STMA Announce Rebrand of Official Publication

SportsTurf magazine, in conjunction with the Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA), announced a rebrand of the association’s official publication to SportsField Management.

The official unveiling of the new brand and logo was made at the 2020 STMA Conference & Exhibition, January 15, in West Palm Beach, Fla.

As the official publication of STMA, the change to the SportsField Management name better aligns with STMA’s emphasis on the sports field manager, as well as STMA’s other initiatives such as The Institute of SportsField Management, STMA’s industry hub promoting field safety and the sports field profession at large.

In addition to the name change to SportsField Management, the publication also unveiled a redesigned look and feel to present a cleaner, more professional approach while also embracing the visually stunning aspects of the sports field management industry.

“The layout and font choices were developed to provide a more contemporary presentation overall with a focus on academic, scientific and business content that is delivered in a human and approachable way,” said Phil Tippin, associate art director at EPG Media and Specialty Information, publisher of SportsField Management. The rebranded/redesigned publication will launch with the February 2020 issue.
