The New Speedseed is ideal for sports grounds where efficiency and random seed dispersion is important. The Speedseed overseeding machines offer the same means to produce thousands of holes, but now also include an industry-leading seed calibration system with variable clutch gearbox. This system simplifies the seeding process by taking away the need to change gears, pulleys or sprockets, and allows finite adjustment of the seeding rate.
The spikes are conical shaped so that more seed actually drops into the holes and the seed only drops when the side wheel turns, so there is no spillage of seed when the machine is not in operation. An optional second roller with spikes can be added for doubling the amount of holes per pass. The new Speedseed comes in four sizes ranging from 48 inches to 95 inches in width.
