Growmark acquires Solu-Cal USA

Growmark announced the acquisition of Solu-Cal USA, a premier supplier of enhanced calcium products in the turf care industry.

Solu-Cal will continue to operate as an independent brand within the Growmark System, as part of the Growmark FS, LLC agronomy subsidiary based in Delaware. The company’s operations will be managed from the new parent company’s Turf Operations center in East Berlin, Pa. Growmark FS has long been a manufacturing facility for Solu-Cal, and will continue to produce Solu-Cal branded and private label products at their Pennsylvania production location. The newly blended Growmark FS & Solu-Cal team will market the expanded range of products to their customer bases and to new customers across the US and internationally.

With this acquisition, Growmark FS enhances its position as a leading manufacturer and supplier of premium soil nutrition and fertility products. Solu-Cal and Growmark FS provide customers an unbeatable range of high-quality wholesale granular and liquid products, for commercial turf care, golf courses and athletic fields, specialty agriculture, wildlife food plots and erosion control. Distributors now have access to robust inventories and custom fertility blending operation on the East Coast.
