According to an article by Benjamin Freas in this month’s Facility Executive, while most drone use to date has been by hobbyists, but the ability to use drones for surveillance, photography, and video is gaining traction across a slew of industries. The Federal Aviation Administration expects the US commercial drone fleet to quadruple in size between 2017 and 2022.
