Real-time venue management system debuts in Santa Clara

According to an article by Tim Newcomb of forbes.com, the San Francisco 49ers have a new system at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara that can alert operations staff of problems in real time.

“It really is a big challenge to operate a stadium on game day,” says Moon Javaid, vice president of strategy and analytics at the San Francisco 49ers. “We have a lot of temporary labor, thousands of employees who have never been here before, 600 points of sale, 50 restrooms. To create a seamless customer experience is a big challenge.”

To ease the challenge, the 49ers and SAP collaborated on a solution, debuting Executive Huddle, a real-time sports venue management platform allowing the team to visualize data across all aspects of stadium operations and respond at the moment.
