According to Reuters, when authorities in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod region realized their soccer World Cup stadium wasn’t quite ready, they tried to entice local municipal workers to help them finish it — in exchange for free food and lodging. The stadium is one of 12 venues in Russia for the June 14-July 15 World Cup.
