GDPR is the General Data Protection Regulation, and it affects all EU citizens no matter where they are living now (EU countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the UK). It basically requires organizations to document the personal data it holds on EU residents, where it came from, who it is shared with, and implement specific privacy policies, opt-in policies for receipt of information from STMA and much more.
