Park district mobile registration tool

Naperville (IL) Park District users now can register for programs on their mobile devices, thanks to the new ACTIVE Net online registration system.

The user-friendly platform has replaced the Rec-Enroll online registration system for spring program registration.

The new system allows users to search for programs by keyword, age, day, time or location. Participants can save classes on a wish list, receive registration reminders and connect to Facebook to invite friends to participate with them in a program. Additionally, parents can keep track of their family’s activities all in one place.

Those who have an existing account with the Naperville Park District and who have registered for a program since November 2014 already have an account in the new system and may activate it at napervilleparks.org/onlineregistration. New users may set up an account using the same link.

Beach memberships and Summer School Camps switched to the new system Feb. 22. Program registrations made in the old system will not be visible in the new system. Going forward, parents will be able to track all of their family’s activities in one place.

“We are excited to introduce our new online registration system to the community after many months of preparation,” Director of Recreation Brad Wilson said.

“We encourage everyone to explore the new system and create or activate an account to become familiar with the new features. Our community relations staff welcomes your questions and comments. Please call (630) 848-5000 or email us at info@napervilleparks.org.”- Chicago Daily Herald
