Kurcab on lacrosse maintenance

Spring is springing and that means spring sports. One of the tougher field management challenges this time of year is managing the high-wear areas of lacrosse and soccer fields. Sometimes these spring sports are played on the football field, still beat up from last fall’s play to some extent. In the US, managing lacrosse fields is fairly new to many field managers. There is very little published information on how to manage these fields while it is the fastest growing high school sport according to US Lacrosse. Since soccer fields have been managed for a lot longer time in the US, I’m going to focus on managing spring in-season lacrosse fields. Many of the techniques and strategies used here can be applied to similar management zones on a soccer field.
