Heritage Action fungicide from Syngenta now available

In time for summer disease control, Heritage Action fungicide is now available for sale. Heritage Action offers hybrid technology that couples the proven disease control of Heritage fungicide, with a boost of acibenzolar-s-methyl (ASM) for enhanced biotic and abiotic stress management.

“Heritage Action builds upon the proven disease protection of Heritage fungicide, which golf course superintendents have trusted for many years,” explains Stephanie Schwenke, turf market manager, Turf and Landscape, Syngenta. “With the addition of ASM, Heritage Action boosts the plant’s natural defenses, helping create strong, healthy turf that is prepared to withstand stresses from disease, golfers and Mother Nature.”

Heritage Action stimulates five plant proteins that effectively manage biotic and abiotic stressors. The result is enhanced energy production, drought tolerance, heat tolerance, photosynthesis and pathogen defense.

ASM is the only active ingredient registered in turf that is recognized by Fungicide Resistance Action Committee (FRAC) to have SAR effects. SAR effects stimulate the plant’s natural stress defenses for heightened disease protection. Additionally, ASM is the only compound proven to affect stomatal regulation for maximized water retention in heat and drought conditions.

Heritage Action helps defend turf against more than 20 diseases, including anthracnose, Pythium diseases, bacterial wilt suppression and brown patch.

“When Heritage Action and Daconil Actionfungicides are used together, there is a noticeable boost in plant performance and disease control,” says Howard Jaekle, fungicide brand manager, Turf and Landscape, Syngenta. “The combination not only improves turf quality and playability, but also maintains excellent turf safety with little threat of injury.”

Customers that purchase 3 pounds of Heritage Action by July 31, 2015, are qualified to receive a pair of AfterShokz wireless headphones. For complete program details, visit GreenCastOnline.com/HeritageAction.
