The summer season marks the return of warmer temps, outdoor sports and the halfway mark to the 2015 STMA Conference in Denver! SAFE, STMA’s charity, conducts a variety of fundraising activities during the STMA Conference to raise funds for scholarship, education, outreach and research. But all the fun of auctions, raffles and SAFE’s new Bowling Night won’t be possible without your help.
Founded in 2000, the mission of Safer Athletic Fields for Everyone Foundation (SAFE) is to enrich communities through championing safe, sustainable sports and recreation fields for all users. The continued success of these fundraisers is credited toward the generous donations from STMA members.
How you can help:
1. Donate for the silent/ live auction
The items in the live auction normally retail for at least $1,500. Popular prizes have included travel packages, sports turf equipment, electronics, clothing, etc. Men’s Large and Extra Large sizes have been most popular in the past.
2. Donate for the raffle
Successful items in previous years have been the latest electronic gadgets, travel vouchers, gift cards, etc. Some of 2014’s hottest tech gifts include Chromecast, the Beats Pill and Apple TV.
3. Make a cash donation to The SAFE Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization. Please send cash donations to The SAFE Foundation Headquarters.

If you would like to donate an item for the live or silent auctions, we ask that you fill out our Donation Form. Any donated items can be mailed to STMA Headquarters at the address provided above or left at the main conference registration desk with STMA staff members. We would love to share with you the amazing prizes we have in store as we get closer to the event, so please consider mailing donated items prior to the conference.
