Turf care students from colleges and universities across the country participated in the competition last week at GIS in Orlando. In addition to the traveling trophy and a check for $4,000, the winning team will also receive the opportunity to volunteer at TPC Sawgrass to experience first-hand what it’s like to prepare a course for a PGA tournament. The Michigan State University team also won the first ever Turf Bowl Tweet Rally, and, as a result, took home the $650 prize for demonstrating school spirit.
