For the 2014 event, STMA will recognize four members with Founders Awards who have made significant contributions to the profession. New this year, horticultural tours will be available for attendees along the city’s famed River Walk.
SAFE, the association’s charitable foundation, will host its annual golf tournament, “Casino Night” and auctions to fund educational programs, scholarships and grants. The philanthropic arm enriches communities through championing safe, sustainable sports and recreation fields for all athletes.
STMA’s “Field of the Year” awards will also be presented to members who manage baseball, football, softball, soccer and other sporting grounds at the professional, collegiate or schools (K-12) and parks level.
