Annual bluegrass is the single largest weed problem in turf. Like many other U.S. scientists, turfgrass researchers at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst have been testing a new herbicide (which has not yet been approved for use in the U.S.) that shows promise in achieving post-emergent control of Poa annua in several cool- and warm-season turfgrasses.
