Diamond Pro would like to welcome Dan Jennings to its family. Dan began his career with Trinity Industries / Diamond Pro as a Sales Representative August 12. Dan brings real-world experience and education into all aspects of the Diamond Pro business.
Dan has a diversified background and plenty of professional head groundskeeping experience in the Midwest League. A native of Grand Rapids Michigan, Dan is a graduate of Michigan State University’s Sports and Commercial Turfgrass program.
After interning with the Great Lakes Loons in 2008, Dan was promoted to assistant in 2009 and took over as Head Groundskeeper, winning honors as the league’s Turf Manager of the Year.
In 2010, Dan spent most of his time in the major leagues with the Texas Rangers; this position allowed him an opportunity to work the World Series at the Ballpark in Arlington. The following year, Dan joined the Dayton Dragons as their Sports Turf Manager, spending three outstanding seasons in Dayton. During his time with the Dragons, Dan managed the full renovation of Fifth Third Field.
Dan is a national member of STMA and local member of OSTMA and MISTMA. In 2012, he was an Ohio STMA Board Member. Dan is an avid golfer and outdoorsman.
