E-Z-GO announced that Gary Johnson has been named Director, Golf Marketing and Strategy for E-Z-GO. As director, Johnson is responsible for all marketing efforts for E-Z-GO's golf business, its RXV and TXT fleet golf cars, and Cushman utility vehicles in the golf and turf markets.

Johnson named Director – Golf Marketing and Strategy for E-Z-GO

E-Z-GO announced that Gary Johnson has been named Director, Golf Marketing and Strategy for E-Z-GO. As director, Johnson is responsible for all marketing efforts for E-Z-GO’s golf business, its RXV and TXT fleet golf cars, and Cushman utility vehicles in the golf and turf markets.


Johnson has 20 years of experience in the golf industry across several disciplines, including finance, product innovation, customer service, marketing and vehicle design. In his new role, Johnson’s responsibilities will include product management, new product development, market research, marketing communications, and development of new go-to-market strategies in the golf industry.


“E-Z-GO has always been at the forefront of innovation in the golf market and I am looking forward to working with a team that is second-to-none in our industry,” Johnson said.


Most recently, Johnson spent the last seven years as product manager for E-Z-GO’s golf and turf vehicle lines. During his tenure, Johnson led the launch of E-Z-GO’s game-changing RXV golf car platform, the upgrade of the company’s TXT golf car to a 48-volt electric drivetrain with unique TruCourse Technology, and the recent introduction of the Cushman Hauler line of utility vehicles into the golf and turf markets.


Johnson is a graduate of Bob Jones University, located in Greenville, S.C., with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He also holds a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute. His background also includes roles in international marketing development and product sourcing, with a focus on the Asian markets. He is a board member of the International Light Transportation Vehicle Association.
