The German chemical company BASF is moving its pest-control business to Research Triangle Park, bringing an estimated 30 jobs as part of a consolidation of several of BASF’s U.S. businesses. BASF’s Pest Control Solutions, Professional Turf & Ornamentals, Professional Vegetation Management and Market Business Development divisions will be called the BASF Specialty Products Department. BASF Pest Control Solutions is now based in St. Louis, Mo. The new business structure, headed by Director of Specialty Products Jan Burberl, should be in place by March 31, the company said.
