Barenbrug USA has hired Jeremy Fortner as the Company’s Turf Territory Manager for the Great Lakes region south to Florida. “We are very pleased to have Jeremy on board … with 15 years experience in the Green Industry, Jeremy has a passion for seeing his customers succeed. He has successfully provided outstanding customer service to the Turf and Ornamental Industry and has been instrumental in creating vital client relationships while maintaining sales management effectiveness,” said John Walther, Barenbrug Vice President of Professional Turf products. Fortner is responsible for professional turf sales and supporting distribution in the states of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida.
Fortner was most recently with ProSolutions, a professional products distribution company in Tennessee and Kentucky providing chemical, seed and fertilizer inputs for the agriculture, golf, lawn care, nursery/greenhouse and industrial markets. Fortner is a member of the Tennessee Turfgrass Association and the Middle Tennessee GCSAA.
Fortner has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (specialization in Nursery/Landscape Management) from Tennessee Tech University.
Fortner and his wife, Elicia, live in Columbia, Tennessee with their three children and are expecting the fourth in January.
