Jacobsen announced that it will serve customers in California, Arizona and Southern Nevada directly through its Jacobsen West operation, a new dealership that replaces its former dealer, Golf Ventures West.
The company believes it can better support customers in the three Western states by servicing them directly. Jacobsen is making significant investments in the dealership, stocking more parts locally and adding additional sales and service staff.
“Right now, we believe we can ensure our customers are getting the highest level of support in the industry by serving them directly,” said Ric Stone, VP of Sales for Jacobsen. “Ultimately, we want to move to a more local distributor model in the region to help build stronger relationships with customers. Long-term, we are committed to retaining a Jacobsen West distribution facility to serve customers and channel partners.”
Jacobsen West is a full-service dealer that operates seven locations throughout California, Arizona and Southern Nevada. It will service hundreds of golf courses and sports fields, including such notable Jacobsen customers as Pebble Beach Golf Links and The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
