Tee-2-Green announces the release of its new premium fairway blend, PureFormance. The new blend was created to help superintendents who are looking to establish an interseeding program on their fairways or recover from this season’s drought, water shortages and record heat.
PureFormance Fairway Blend is a mixture of Tee-2-Green’s legendary Penneagle II, PennLinks II and Crystal BlueLinks varieties of creeping bentgrasses. Combined, these varieties are designed to provide a broad spectrum of disease resistance, heat and cold tolerance, quick recovery, fast establishment and increased overall performance.
Bill Rose, president of Tee-2-Green, says of the PureFormance Fairway Blend, “Considering that fall is approaching with better weather for grass and the need to repair grass from the tremendous damage, we have prepared a special blend of the best fairway grasses, Crystal BlueLinks, combined with Penneagle II & PennLinks II, which are famous for brown patch and dollar spot resistance.
