Jacobsen again expands sales staff

As part of Jacobsen’s recent expansion of its  customer support, sales force and dealer presence in North and South America, the company has added three more territory sales managers to its staff. The new key roles are part of Jacobsen’s commitment to building and developing relationships in the turf industry.

Kody Key will support dealers and customers in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Tennessee as Territory Sales Manager. Kody brings significant industry experience to his role at Jacobsen, including tenure at three different golf courses in Texas as superintendent. Most recently, Kody was the sports turf manager at an 84-acre sports complex in Franklin, Texas. Kody will be based in College Station, Texas.

Mark Pena recently started as Territory Sales Manager, responsible for supporting dealers and customers in Michigan and Ohio. Mark comes to Jacobsen with over 20 years of experience in the golf industry, most recently as regional sales manager with Turfco Inc. in Minnesota. He also owned his own irrigation firm and worked as an irrigation consultant for over 150 courses throughout the Northeast. Mark will be based in Vermilion, Ohio.

Brian Godwin was hired as Territory Sales Manager and will support dealers and customers in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Brian will be based in Simpsonville, Kentucky. Brian brings nearly 15 years of turf and outdoor product experience to Jacobsen, working as territory sales manager for Ventrac, Pace and Tennessee Outdoor Power Equipment.

“We continue to expand our sales staff with industry veterans like Kody, Mark and Brian,” said Ric Stone, VP of Sales for Jacobsen. “We will leverage their experience, knowledge and expertise to help us build relationships with dealers, customers and associations.”
