Troy University’s athletics program is in the midst of getting the football turf resurfaced for Veterans Memorial Stadium. The old AstroPlay surface, which had been installed since 2003, was stripped. The athletics department is putting together contests through Twitter and Facebook to give away pieces of the old turf, as well as putting together a time-lapse video online of the removal and installation of the new turf.
