Jacobsen adds to Customer Care and Sales staff

In an effort to build and develop relationships with customers, industry associations and dealers, Jacobsen recently added to its customer care and sales departments. This comes on the heels of significant expansion of the company’s customer support, sales force and dealer presence in North and South America.

Mike Dahlin is Jacobsen’s newest Product Support Manager and will be responsible for supporting customers and dealers in a variety of capacities including product service and parts support, technical assistance and dealer training. Mike has over ten years of golf course maintenance equipment experience, most recently with Rain Bird as a service engineer. Mike also worked as an assistant superintendent, equipment manager and mechanic at golf courses in Colorado, Oregon and Montana. Mike will be based in Bend, Oregon and support dealers and customers in the Northwestern U.S.

Al Hicks recently started as Territory Sales Manager, responsible for supporting dealers and customers along the coast in South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. Al comes to Jacobsen with over 22 years of experience in the golf industry, with positions at Showturf, Georgia Turf & Tractor, Ty Crop, Greenville Turf & Tractor and Willow Creek Golf Club.

Evan Seifert was hired as Product Sales Demonstrator, who will support dealers in the Midwest on product demonstrations, field days, product road shows and other events. Evan will be based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Evan brings over 35 years of golf maintenance experience to Jacobsen, working in various positions at courses in Michigan, including superintendent, general manager and owner.

“We are investing in customer care and sales with industry veterans like Mike, Al and Evan,” said Ric Stone, VP of Sales for Jacobsen. “These critical positions are helping us build strong relationships with customers, industry associations and our dealers.”
