Coveleski Stadium opens new Aquatic Play Pad

Silver Hawks fans were delighted to take advantage of Coveleski Stadium’s recently installed aquatic play pad that opened just in time for a big game between two of the league’s best teams.

The play pad, located on the right corner of the Stadium, became a feature attraction as soon as the water was turned on for the first time. “Everyone is very happy with how it all turned out. The stadium’s new amenities offer something for everyone. Parents can enjoy the game while their children splash around the pad,” said Bill Smith, owner of RecSource Aquatics, Inc. Some fans have even requested seats closer to the play pad so they can watch both the game and their children play.

The play pad features 16 multi-coloured ground sprays with integrated LED lights, called Luminary Sprays and four Glow Effects, a flush LED light that provides accent lighting after dark. During the day, waterplayers are mesmerized as they watch water dance over the bright colours. As night settles over the horizon, fans can watch the play pad transform into a stunning visual display. The Luminary Sprays project glowing colours throughout the spraying water while the Glow Effects surround the pad and play off the surrounding water.

The unique play pad design was the first of its kind to be located in a stadium setting. The company is certain that they will see more projects like this in the near future as it perfectly suits the need for families to have a place for their children to play while visiting a sports attraction.
