Jacobsen hires three new sales managers

In an effort to be more visible in the marketplace and develop relationships with customers, dealers, and associations, Jacobsen recently added three new Territory Sales Managers.

Kevin Hutchins recently started as Territory Sales Manager in the West, supporting western Nevada, California and Baja California.  A veteran turf manager, Kevin was the superintendent at Mission Viejo Country Club in California for nine years.  During his tenure, Kevin won several industry awards, including the GCSAA Environmental Leader Award.

Darrin Batisky was hired as Territory Sales Manager in the Northeast, supporting territories in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Quebec in Canada.  Prior to Jacobsen, Darrin was a turf and ornamental agronomist with Helena Chemical Company.  He also served as a golf course superintendent for 15 years, managing courses in Pennsylvania and New York.

Don Barowsky is Jacobsen’s newest Territory Sales Manager, responsible for the Northwest region including Montana, Oregon, Idaho, Utah and parts of Wyoming, Washington and Nevada.  Don was most recently Golf and Sales Manager at Silver Creek Supply in Boise, Idaho.  He also served as assistant superintendent at Ironwood Country Club in Palm Desert, California.

“It’s no coincidence that our three new sales managers were all superintendents at one time. We hired industry experts that will have immediate credibility with customers, dealers and associations,” said Ric Stone, VP of Sales for Jacobsen. “These positions are critical for Jacobsen as we continue to become more visible in the marketplace.”
