Jacobsen expands presence in Midwest

Jacobsen announced that it is greatly expanding its presence in the Midwest, adding dealers, sales staff and field service personnel. Jacobsen has added three new dealers in the Midwest to cover territories in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, regions that were previously serviced by Jacobsen directly. The new dealers increase Jacobsen’s Midwest presence to five locations.

Lakeshore Golf & Turf, based in Wyoming, Michigan (outside of Grand Rapids), will cover western and northern Michigan. Wolf Creek, with locations in Cincinnati and Trotwood Ohio, as well as Lexington and Louisville Kentucky, will serve Ohio, southern Indiana and all of Kentucky. Midwest Golf & Turf, located in Novi, Michigan and Indianapolis, Indiana, will serve mid and north Indiana as well as eastern Michigan and the Toledo, Ohio area.

To provide enhanced service and support for customers in the Midwest, Jacobsen will double its territory sales force and triple the amount of service personnel in the field. The number of sales and product support managers has also been increased to allow more customer interaction. In addition, Jacobsen is adding a team of dedicated demonstrators with their own fleet of equipment to support the territories.

“Adding dealers and staff in the Midwest is part of a larger effort by Jacobsen to be closer to our customers,” said David Withers, President of Jacobsen. “Our service and support must be at the same high level of quality as our world-class equipment.”
