Irrigation Foundation launches Irrigation Career Link

The Irrigation Career Link, an online job board created by the Irrigation Foundation, was launched March 21. This tool is the latest success in helping achieve the Foundation’s goal of supplying the industry with educated and skilled professionals.

The job board allows employers and job seekers to:

·         Access career resources that provide information on a variety of topics.

·         Upload résumés and create job alerts based on user-defined criteria.

·         Post open positions or internship opportunities for a 30- or 60-day time period.

Career resources and job seeker tools are available free of charge. Companies looking to hire can take advantage of an introductory coupon and receive 50 percent off of a 30-day position posting using coupon code IFINTRO to post an open position for $49.50.

Career development and recruitment is a fundamental goal for the Foundation and close to 51 percent of its resources are used to promote irrigation careers. “Our industry can help people make a difference while making a living, and the Irrigation Career Link will be valuable in helping recruit the next generation of irrigators,” said Foundation Chair Steve McCoon.
