Foster City (CA) will fund a synthetic turf project at Sea Cloud Park with park-in-lieu fees from a new development currently being constructed in the wake of the California Supreme Court decision that upholds the state’s action to dissolve redevelopment agencies. The turf project, approved by the council nearly a year ago, was set to be funded through a capital improvement project fund for $1.5 million to install synthetic turf soccer and baseball fields at Sea Cloud Park.
