Williams, Whelan in changes at Jacobsen

Jacobsen is pleased to announce two changes to their sales organization.


Tony Whelan joins Jacobsen as Director of Sales – Western Region.  He is an experienced leader in the Golf industry, having served with Rain Bird International and Rain Bird Corporation over the last 14 years in various sales positions for the United States, Canada and Asia Pacific.  Tony studied Agriculture Technology and has a degree in International Business.  He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA).  At Jacobsen, he is responsible for leading sales efforts in the western United States and Canada, working closely with Jacobsen dealers and Territory Sales Managers. 


Mark Williams, a 26 year veteran of the golf industry, has held various positions within Jacobsen and Jacobsen dealer organizations including President of B. Hayman, Jacobsen’s distributor in Hawaii, and General Manager of Jacobsen Turf Direct in the Carolinas.  He’s also worked as an Assistant Golf Professional in San Antonio.  Most recently he’s served as Jacobsen’s Regional Sales Manager – Western Region and now joins the Corporate Accounts team as Director of Corporate Accounts.  Mark will work with owners, operators and management companies of multiple locations and large fleet owners in the western United States and Canada.
