The Ohio Sports Turf Managers Association has named Beavers Field its 2011 Field of the Year. Beavers Field was among five finalists for the award, a list that did not include any professional fields but did contain stadiums from universities in Ohio. "It's really a great honor," Beavers Field President Al Beavers said. "I'm just never satisfied with it, I guess. I always see something I want to do."
