Jacobsen, the international turf maintenance equipment manufacturer, has received the 2011 Environmental Excellence Gold Award from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utility Department. This award honors companies for environmental excellence in protecting the local community’s water quality.
Environmental Excellence Award winners have complied with their pollution discharge requirements, cooperated fully with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities and exhibited a proactive and innovative approach to protecting water quality.
