OH high school athletic association partners with Sports Construction Group

The Ohio High School Athletic Association announced today that it has signed Sports Construction Group, a builder of synthetic turf and natural grass athletic fields, as an official partner.

“Sports Construction Group has built numerous high-performance fields for OHSAA member schools across the state, making its sponsorship a natural fit,” said Daniel B. Ross, Ph.D., commissioner of the OHSAA. “Plus, this partnership with SCG supports one of our primary goals, which is to provide safe and sporting-like athletic environments for our student-athletes, officials and fans.”

SCG’s clients include one-fourth of National Football League teams, one-fifth of Major League Baseball teams and scores of top-tier collegiate and high school teams. On the SCG roster are some of the most recognizable sport facilities in the nation: Yankee Stadium, Citizens Bank Park, Progressive Field, Soldier Field, Heinz Field, Cleveland Browns Stadium, Notre Dame Stadium and Northwestern’s Ryan Field, along with dozens of minor league, collegiate, high school and community systems.

“We’re extremely proud to support the OHSAA in its mission, particularly since SCG is an Ohio-based company and so many state high school teams compete on our fields,” said SCG President and CEO Paul Franks.  “They have directly experienced the passion we have for building first-class synthetic turf and natural grass sports fields, whether at the professional, collegiate or high school level.”
