“I’m being told it will be ready, barring any further delays and Mother Nature cooperates,” Chesterton Athletic Director Garry Nallenweg said. “Looking at the field right now, with half the limestone still to be put down, I kind of shake my head. I wouldn’t make a real good construction manager. I don’t understand their world real well. I’m an educator. I’m deferring to the experts. They know their business. You’ve just got to trust people and hope they’re not misleading you.”
