Elvex chainsaw chaps feature Prolar protective pads designed to burst apart on contact with a moving chain (up to 3,000 fpm), and jam it against the bar and sprocket. Elvex chaps provide 180° to 210° of chain saw protection, depending on model. Tough outer shell made of 420 denier nylon (Standard Coverage Model) or 1,000 denier Cordura® nylon (Extended Coverage Model) is extremely lightweight and resistant to water, oil, mildew, and abrasions. UL® approved. Safety orange.
