As part of its field operations expansion, FMC Professional Solutions recently named a new Key Account Manager and six new Market Specialists to ensure more market support for the pest control, turf and ornamental industries.

FMC names seven to new positions

As part of its field operations expansion, FMC Professional Solutions recently named a new Key Account Manager and six new Market Specialists to ensure more market support for the pest control, turf and ornamental industries.


Key Account managers for each market segment focus on national and major customers to strengthen relationships and offer increased support. Market Specialists provide enhanced product stewardship and support of FMC products through increased customer contact. Fourteen Market Specialists — seven for the pest industry and seven for the turf industry — are now located strategically throughout the U.S.


Recent additions to FMC Pest Management team include:


Kathy Bayers. A Key Account Manager for several pest management distribution companies, Bayers is a Montana native who grew up on a cattle ranch. Her experience includes sales, marketing and project management positions with various national and regional chemical companies, as well as owning her own turf business, Sandy Creek Turf. She holds a degree in finance from Montana State University and recently received a degree in Mathematics from the University of Mississippi.


Judy Wanner.  A native Texan, Wanner will cover Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Texas and Kansas as a Pest Market Specialist. A graduate of the University of Missouri with a degree in horticulture, she was previously a territory manager for Specialty Products for Bayer for many years. Wanner resides in Sherman, Texas.


Kyle Franklin. A Pest Market Specialist, Franklin graduated from the University of North Carolina with a degree in economics. He will cover Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Most recently a commercial division manager for Terminix of the Triad in Kernersville, N.C., Franklin also taught high school business classes in Raleigh. He resides in High Point, N.C.


Bayers, Wanner and Franklin join the existing FMC Pest Market team, which includes:

New FMC Turf and Ornamental Market Specialists are:


A.J. Hephner.  A native of Montpelier, Ohio, Hephner holds a bachelor’s degree in agronomy from Wilmington College and a master’s degree in crop science from Texas Tech University. He worked as an intern for the Boston Red Sox and Brickman Landscaping. Hephner will cover North and South Carolina and Virginia. He resides in Knightdale, N.C.


Julie Pospech. Born and raised in Texas, Pospech has a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness from Texas A&M University. Her experience includes sales and marketing positions for Dow AgroSciences in both the pest management and the Seeds Traits & Germplasm Licensing business. She will cover Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado and New Mexico from her home base in Bryan, Texas.


Corbett Schnatmeyer. A recent graduate of California State University in Chico, Schnatmeyer holds a bachelor’s degree in agriculture with a focus on crops, horticulture and land resource management. He resides in Manteca, Calif., and will cover ten western states for FMC Turf & Ornamental products.


Jay Young.  A native of St. Louis, Mo., Young holds a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University in agronomy and soils with a focus on turfgrass management. His experience includes assistant superintendent and director of agronomy positions at three golf courses, as well as territory manager with Harrell’s LLC. He will cover 12 Midwestern states from his home base in St. Louis.


Hephner, Pospech, Schnatmeyer and Young join the existing FMC Turf and Ornamental team, which includes:
