Pioneer announces 2010 Fields of Excellence winners

Pioneer Athletics has announced the winners of their 2010 Fields of Excellence awards. From a pool of over 200 applicants, Pioneer selected 76 athletic fields. Faced with tightened budgets and being asked to do more with less, the field crews of these schools and organizations exemplified team work and dedication in 2010.



As a direct result of the field crew’s hard work, two schools were honored with scholarships to give to a deserving student; Girard School District in Girard, Pennsylvania and Richmond High School in Richmond, Missouri.



All 76 fields displayed a commitment to excellence.  Each recipient will be awarded a certificate of recognition and a Fields of Excellence® banner. In addition to the two scholarship winning athletic fields, the other winners are:
