Horizon Distributors Inc. a full-service distributor of landscape and irrigation products, announced today it has expanded its presence in the Las Vegas market with the acquisition of Turf Equipment Supply Company (TES), through parent company Pool Corporation. The acquisition of Turf Equipment Supply Company, a leading distributor of landscape and irrigation products and services in Las Vegas, will bring three additional sales centers to Horizon’s Southwest Division.
“This acquisition allows us to expand the current product offerings in Turf Equipment Supply Company locations to include the full breadth of irrigation, landscape, specialty and professional lawn care equipment products currently available at all Horizon stores,” said Jim Ross, president, Horizon Distributors. “Turf Equipment Supply Company has a strong history of superior customer service and a comprehensive range of irrigation products and services.”

Turf Equipment Supply Company will begin to operate under the Horizon brand immediately with no plans to consolidate or reduce the number of TES distribution locations. TES administrative functions will be consolidated into Horizon in the first quarter of 2011. TES will operate within the Arizona/Nevada region of Horizon’s Southwest Division
