Several new herbicides will enter the turfgrass marketplace in the spring of 2011. These herbicides have been extensively tested at the University of Tennessee for both weed control efficacy and cool- and warm-season turfgrass safety. Results of these trials will be presented by members of the University of Tennessee Turfgrass Weed Science Team this winter.
Labels for each of these herbicides have been posted at the University of Tennessee Turfgrass Weed Science Website. We encourage turf managers to review these labels prior to making decisions about herbicide applications in 2011.
