Departure non-selective herbicide from Syngenta has received registration from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for use on residential and commercial lawns, golf courses, sod farms, athletic fields, and for ornamental production.
The product is a highly-concentrated, liquid formulation of glyphosate for broad- spectrum, systemic and non-selective control of more than 170 emerged annual and perennial grass and broadleaf weeds. Departure is also labeled for a broad range of turfgrass applications including turf renovation and winter weed control in dormant bermudagrass.
Because of the high concentration of the active ingredient glyphosate, a 2.5-gallon container of Departure can treat 39 percent more area than traditional glyphosate products.
