Minor League Baseball and John Deere have agreed to terms on a partnership that includes an Official Sponsorship of Durham Athletic Park and the MiLB Sports Turf Managers Seminar which takes place at the facility.

Minor League Baseball and John Deere have agreed to terms on a partnership which includes an Official Sponsorship of Durham Athletic Park and the MiLB Sports Turf Manager’s Seminar which takes place at the facility. Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.


As part of the agreement, John Deere will also co-sponsor Opening Night at Baseball Trade Show at the Baseball Winter Meetings. They will also be recognized as a Preferred Partner of Minor League Baseball and will offer preferred pricing on products to MiLB clubs through John Deere Golf.

Minor League Baseball operates Durham Athletic Park in Durham, N.C., and uses it as a training center for business and facility operations in the baseball industry. The DAP will also host games for North Carolina Central University and other Durham city events.
