Western Pozzolan has announced that the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California has selected its project “Lassenite Pozzolan Turf Irrigation Study” under their Innovative Conservation Program. This proposed project is being conducted in conjunction with Dr.’s Laosheng Wu and Robert Green of the University of California, Riverside and Gail Materials.
The Innovative Conservation Program provides funding to promote new innovative devices, technologies and strategies that save water, energy and embedded energy, reduce urban runoff, to help achieve regional water supply reliability within Metropolitan’s service area. Projects are selected on a competitive basis.
