The University of Georgia has licensed a new variety of Bermudagrass that reportedly grows well in both full sun and in shade.


The new Bermudagrass is called “TifGrand.” It is licensed by the University of Georgia Research Foundation Inc. to New Concept Turf and will soon be available to homeowners for planting lawns, to developers for recreational facilities, sports complexes and golf courses and to urban landscapers.
