SipcamAdvan welcomes Adam Burnhams as vice president of marketing

SipcamAdvan appointed Adam F. Burnhams as vice president of marketing for Sipcam Agro USA, Inc. and subsidiaries Advan LLC and Sostram Corporation.

“Adam brings an exceptional track record both in the United States and internationally, and will be an integral part of SipcamAdvan’s drive to become a $200 million company within five years,” said President and Chief Executive Officer Andy Lee.  “Adam’s extensive experience will make him a key driver for our strategy to provide a launch platform for new technology.”

“I am pleased to be joining SipcamAdvan at this exciting point in the company’s history, and look forward to being part of the team that will build on its solid foundations,” said Adam.  Most recently, Adam managed marketing efforts for BASF Corp’s U.S. crop protection business, based in RTP, North Carolina.  During his six years with BASF in the U.S., Adam was also Manager Strategic Accounts and Marketing Manager Corn Belt.  Before moving to North Carolina, he held positions with BASF in Germany, and in the U.K. with American Cyanamid’s subsidiary, Cyanamid Agriculture U.K., and with Shell Research Ltd.

In January 2009, Sipcam Advan relocated its corporate headquarters to the Research Triangle region of North Carolina from Roswell, Georgia.  The move positioned the company for sustainable growth, based on new technologies as well as traditional crop protection chemistries.
